    Hey everyone,
I'm pretty sure this has been posted before already, but I just came back from Target today and found these great die-cast model kits by Maisto. They are pre-packaged, pre-painted parts (interior, 2 wheel sets, exterior, tires, etc) and come with a fun little screwdriver.

Picked up a few models for kicks - F50, Enzo, 355 spider, 550M

They were about 10 bucks... if you want a few easy models to put together, pay a visit to your local target store! :)

    I didn't see a Enzo...
Maisto... Does that mean Mattel's exclusivity has ended up?

I don't know what this means as far as Mattel goes, but I have seen these for quite some time now at Target. I picked up an F50 and put on some Dub-City wheels on. It was kind of easy but a little bit difficult. The only problem is the wheels were almost to big to fit and it does not roll.

You have to assemble it which gets passed the licensing law because it's not a ready built model like mattel.

Mattels license was for 1:64, 1:43, and 1:18 scale models. The Maisto's are 1:24 scale kits.

Those kits are very ugly and very bad detailed

    I agree with this.

They are about half the price of HW 1:18 cars and the detailing and shape is just bad.

These are designed as toys and not as display pieces.
