Hi, i am a 1/24 scale model collector of as well Ferrari as Mercedes Benz.
Now the supply is drying up I hope I can find someone who has a special mode, either customized or original.
I already have quite a few, but I would love to have a 612; FXX; 328; 308 Bertone; 250 California spyder at least.
Any one can give me ideas is welcome to reply.
    Kind regards, Simon from Holland

1/24th is a mainly kit scale, but the diecast manufactures are starting to do alot more lately. Go to www.diecast1-24.blogspot.com for more information.
Quattroroute magazine is doing around 50 1/24th cars to sell with the magazines in Italy. They are very well done and include several old Mercedes cars and many vintage European cars. The Alfa's and Lancia's are most welcome. You can find them on ebay Italy.

Are you looking for plastic, resin, diecast, or all? There has been a 308 Bertone plastic kit on Ebay for a long time, I have a California spyder kit along with quite a few other kits I am selling on Ebay. Including a 1/24 kit of JG's new Dino.

    hi Simon,

For the california spider you can look at rennaisance you can have the kit or let it be factory build the kit will cost you about 250 euro and the factory build will set you back a 500 euro but they are the best there is, if your budget does not allow you for that one you can go for the italeri or revell kit of the california what is certainly much cheaper but then to upgrade the model you can opt for tecnomodel borrani spoke wheels. The italeri kit is very good aswell and with engine detail it takes some time to build and to add details from scratch build but you get a fairly good result.
Me i have the both a rennaisance factory build and a italery mainly for the reason that the rennaisance is an early type california without light covers and the italeri is a later type with light covers.

for the 612, FXX, 328, and the 308 bertone you have to look at plastic kits since there is no company who produce them in resin or white metal kits, nor do you have factory build models of them.

hope i could be of some assistance to you.

    friendly greetings,

    Alex

"There has been a 308 Bertone plastic kit on Ebay for a long time"

The ebay kit is the 308 Rainbow, I doubt he's looking for that....I'd bet he's looking for the 308 GT4 Bertone. Fujimi did a resin prebuilt 1/24 of tit but it's long gone.
