Recently completed over 1300 miles in 4 days on a trip through south wales, north wales, the lake districk and the peak district amongst others.

Glad too say the car run absolutely faultlessly, though some of the minor roads we found around the lakes got a little narrow! Luckily they weren't too busy: just us and a load of sheep.

During the trip I had about 20 shouts / comments to the effect of 'nice car mate' and one of '**** car' by a kid with a pitbull terrier (good old stereotypes). Still, 20:1 is better than I would have expected!

Only downside was when I had to do a 3 point turn using an uneven piece of road and managed to scuff the underside at the front. Its only visible when you get on your knees and look up, but I would like to get it sorted.

Can anyone reccommend someone in Kent?

is it the black bit? if so you'll do it again and again!, you can buy titanium skidplates to protect it or just touch it in with satin black paint and have it tidied up properly once a year

You can make & fit your own skid plates at very little cost and does not take long .

Or you can buy them from hill engineering at very reasonable cost and they really do look neat and work well.

Unfortunately it isn't the black bits but the red bit that is scuffed. Thats how uneven the road was.

Thanks for the contacts Darren, I'll give them a call.
