Actually if this is a 1/4, scale...no big deal if you go 1/1 right? :)

    nice job!

(Thread jack) - if anyone in the LA/OC area wants me to scan their Countach (or any Lambo for that matter), let me know, I have a 3D laser scanner (Surphaser). White colors scan best, but can make other colors work pending your comfort level. Just drop me a PM

I would love to have a 1/4 scale Wolf Countach.

(already have the 1/43, 1/24, 1/18 and 1/12. Still not convinced to buy/subscribe to De Agostini 1/8 yet)

Ha, I will update after printing one more bit - I haven't done much printing since then, but I have pretty much printed the front bumper (the other half really) and the panel where the windscreen wiper comes out from.

Once I finish the first LP500s I will look into making other models, if you pay me enough I might model and print and make 1 1/4 scale WW :p

I think the De Agostini should be good no? it is pretty damn detailed!

Jet-X For jacking my thread, if you get a laser scan you must give me a copy! :p

    Cheers guys :)

Here we go, the front bonnet print failed around 80% in =[ I will reprint it last as I can probably fabricate it by hand as it i pretty much a flat panel. save the headache.

I am not going to print the other side until i got all the lights sorted (especially the pop up light, I need to make sure things don't get caught on each other and need to work out on the mechanism.
Here we go, I didn't print anything extra, but thought I will assemble the front end with tape.

Only if you build me a model :D

Seriously, if someone will let me scan their Countach I will (and I can come to them).

Haha, You do the scan, I will 3D model over the scan to make it useable. Then you've got a deal, I would do it free of charge :)

I hope that is what you meant by "build me a model" :p.

So yes, anyone that can help Jet-X with scanning a Countach, please PM him :)

I looked at their website, but they don't specify what scanner or process they use.

There's a number of different scanners and processes that it goes far beyond just a simple response. But we use a Surphaser 100HSX, and depending on color of car/components, may/may not require a matting spray to be used. Stickers are another alternative to sprays for some scanners.

3D printed the wheels again, this time based on a laser scan and measurements.

Seat is done, front grille is done, exhaust guard half done, 11 piece taillights x 5 done :D

2 Windscreens with a wooden lattice mold to shape them on done.

    Enjoy!

    1:12 scale Kyosho for reference.

Currently printing the Treads for the rear wheel.

The Last picture is a render I did based on the laser scan data received from Brian.
