    Hi all

A couple of pics from my 8 day trip to Le Mans and Brittany. The TR ran perfectly, The Tubi exhaust was heard at last at high revs with some spirited driving. I feel now that Im getting used to the car and I didnt need the tool kit or 'special items' that I packed.

The highlight of the trip was a POLICE escorted parade to Le Mans. This was a jouney from the North of Le Mans at a 'British Day' Auto show - the F.O.C had organised it. What was impressive was that the parade was on open roads during 'rush hour' and the French Police Motor Bike outriders basically pushed traffic to one side and blocked junctions so that we could sail through the red lights.!! The two front 355s with their Capristo exhausts provided the sound track alongside the sirens.

All told about 1500 miles demonstrating that these cars can be driven, left outside in the rain and dust, and enjoyed as they were intended to as a Grand Tourer.

Good for you. I have considered taking my TR on a trip to New Orleans (from Orlando) which is about 1300 miles round trip. I may just do it now that I have seen this post.
