    Hi Jerry!

WOW..AWSOME, just awsome - I really love that 1/8 Testarossa.
Was it hard to build?? any glue or just "click"?? if you know what I mean.
Those background models are 1/18?? right?? (and not 1/16)

Again, it turned out just perfect, I think I'm gonna get one of those my self someday, but its still a bit expensive over here in Europe...:(:(

Is it heavy??? (in KG please)

PS:really like your working table as well (kitchen??) l@@ks really solid :D:D:D:D

Thanx for sharing these pics man.:D

    Paul

    Thanks Paul-

No glue required - Everything just snaps into place - Except when I break something. :) Then I break out the glue.

Yep, sorry, you are correct - The other models are 1/18.

I bought it on ebay for $320 with shipping - Sometimes they pop up for more & sometimes for less - I've been wanting one for a while, just finally pulled the trigger. I got a good deal on the silver one - $273.50 including shipping - I think I usually see them for $600 or $700.

It weighs 13 pounds which converts to 5.902 KG I think.

I built the same Pocher model several years ago Looking at your pictures brought back memories. The only problem I had is the rear trunk lid does not sit down all the way. Part of the intake on the engine seems to keep it from fully closing. Yours looks like it closes better than mine does. Good job.

Looks sweet Chiaro_Slag but did you think about painting the body to match your own TR?

    Jerry,
I have an extreamly detailed 1/8 scan of my original 1988 TR window sticker. Would you like me to e-mail the file to you? If you print it out on a high quality laser printer you can read all the details (with a magnifying glass).

You know, I did think about it, but was so excited to get started, I lacked the patience to paint it blue! Maybe I will get one someday and do that - I want to practice with the airbrush gun first. I have a 1/18 Hot Wheels model that is a kit that gets put together - I think I will practice on that first.

It would be impossible to find my rims, and the interior is wrong for my year, but it would be nice to have a blue one!!

If you ever have any paint work done on your 1:1 scale ride (like repairing rock chips, etc) the shop will often have the capability of putting some of the leftover paint in an aerosol "rattle can" for you. If you take your time, and use several light coats, a rattle can can give a finish quality comparable to an airbrush.

    That would be cool.

Maybe when I get some rock chips repaired, I can have them professionally paint my scale models. :)

How funny would that be? I could bring them in like 4 models to paint for me, lol.

    Thanks for the tip Dave!

No prob... That's probably not a bad idea, if they're die-casts. Don't bring them any plastic ones, though, cause if they cure the paint in those ovens, you might end up with some melted models. :)

Melted plastic is not good for anyone!

I actually want to try out the air brush - I bought it months ago, but haven't opened it yet. I gotta get off my butt & try it though - Doing it myself is part of the fun. :)

LOL - A few people feel the same way!!

In an effort to correct this problem, I bought the white one from Bernd. I am going to take it apart and pait it blue. I'm really excited - Should be fun. :)

I am also working on the Silver Convertible - Should be a nice collection of 3!
