[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PvhC9ja3yJ0[/ame] I would be surprised if anyone else on here has heard of this car. I was lucky enough to get to be up close with this incredible special edition Veyron. It is a 1 of 1 special edition of the Grand Sport called the "Bleu Nuit". It is a mix of the "Sang Bleu" and the "Soleil de Nuit" editions. It is polished aluminum and blue carbon fiber. So beautiful. The following day, I spotted it on the road going for gas..then got it starting up on camera. Sadly, I only had my cell phone. This car was being shipped to an owner who apparently had Veyron #001, a Pur Sang, and several other Veyrons. Anybody heard of this besides me? Please watch the video and look at the pictures! nice spot, but how many freakin' "special edition" Veyrons are there now? they're worse than Gallardos! or 599s!
Thanks everyone. This definitely is my favorite Veyron..the color combo is perfect and those are my favorite wheels. I want to see it again...
Ryan, thanks for sharing. Great photos! My favourite Veyron is still the Supersport shown at Pebble Beach. But I can see why you'd have this as your favourite one.
Thanks for sharing. Their configurator allows one to choose blue carbon as an option, along with the aluminium. I'm sure buyers can also have something written on the side of the car. When you're dealing with such a bespoke program like Bugatti's, I'm sure with the right spec, anything would become a 1/1.
Are you sure it's not just a Sang Bleu being driven somewhere with a regular front bumper as to protect the bare aluminium?
Nope. It is a 1 off. The bumpers are different, the side view mirrors are different, and some other things. It also clearly says "Bleu Nuit" on the doors
Thanks! If I ever get to see a Supersport, my opinion may be changed..I probably would prefer the black / orange World Record Edition one. But the "Bleu Nuit" was just so classy..I love it
The aluminium mirrors are standard on the Sang Bleu, as is the interior color combination, wheels etc. The inscription on the side can be ordered. If my $2.7M Sang Bleu was being driven two miles round trip to fill up at a busy gas station like On The Run, I'd want my bare blue carbon/aluminium bumper taken off as well. Find anything but the inscription that's unique. It's still an amazing car, but she ain't a one off.
It is probably like with Pagani. Pay enough and the tailorbuild a car for you and name after you, Like The PS, Zonda GJ and so on. Or the CCXR Special ONE To be a genuine limited edition, I think it has to be like with the Reventon. The factory announces that they will make XX cars of a special model Sometimes a dealer order a limited number of cars to very special specification, like RR Phantom Beverly Hills... or the Aston Vantage V400 (10 cars ordered by HMW dealer to a certain spec). I do not think those are "limited editions"... I do love the old coach built Ferraris. Are there BTW any news on any more SP cars from Ferrari?
I don't mean to keep arguing, but this is the full info I got. I first saw this car http://www.flickr.com/photos/a7xbass94/4769108413/in/set-72157624834129914/ at St. Louis Motorsports where it was BRAND NEW and had just been relieved. Here it still had some packing materials on it. The day I saw it at the gas station, they were filling it up before shipping it to the customer in Florida. The bumper was ordered that way from the factory. The interior of the car was a lighter shade of tan than the Sang Bleu. It also was made several months after the SB. The indicators are added, the mirror were made of a different material - brushed nickel. The inscription that can be ordered is the signature of the maker, not the name of the car. This is a 1 off. I know for a fact because the man who showed me the car was the owner of the dealership who ordered the car for the new owner. It was based off of the Sang Bleu, but is slightly different.
I dont think the owner of the Sang Bleu would be too pleased if someone else could order exactly the same car, seeing as it was an official one of one car from Bugatti. I guess that is the reason this car has a painted lower bumper rather than bare alluminium, unless the owner just liked it that way. But its certain that is not a Sang Bleu.
