Anybody else notice the 2007 Porsche GT3/ RS for sale in CT? There were only 4 exterior colors (black silver orange and green) offered for the RS version with a contrasting decal in either black or orange. This RS is painted in the unavailable 'Carrera White' shade with a black interior and black decals and wheels. The crowning touch is a chrome factory roll cage ($10,000 option) that must be dealer installed. Offered with a $55,000 dollar premium markup on the list price> Peanuts compared to what the Ferrari flippers demand...

Thanks for all the info. It seems for Porsche "NO, not available" really means "maybe yes". As usual Porsche seems to charge huge premiums for very little extra in the way of actual performance in the North American versions of it's cars. Obviously an acquired taste...which is better enjoyed as the original buyer!

Yes , as for the Enzo , you can have it the way you want as long as you have the deutschmarks.

porsche received such a huge demand from customers for white RSs (due to the fact that they marketed the white GT3 so heavily) that they happily made it available.....for a $4300 premium.

So....don't anyone complain about flippers charging premiums until they complain first about porsche charging $4300 for a paint color that is FREE on a regular 911!

Did they charge extra not to get a sunroof to? Interesting about how popular white has become. Porsche needs all that extra money to pay the boss his 35million$ pay cheque for running the show...
