    That is a pretty interesting book. It's about 250 pages of unbelievably useful information.

    A fun read for owners even if you don't do much of your own work.

    Interesting "Protection Plate" -- can't recall ever seeing a photo with that item installed posted here...

    It's interesting you mentioned that. I remember my mechanic handing it back to me after he updated my car. He tried to put it on but just couldn't get it to behave. I think I still have it on a shelf somewhere. I guess most all of them have been left off by now.

    Something for me to look out for next time I am wandering through a concours
    field at an FCA event

    Maybe something that they thought was a good idea at the time they were developing the kit, but later on decided it really wasn't needed (or was just too much extra hassle/cost). I don't recall seeing it used in the (updated) 308QV SPC nor the 328 SPC.

    I saw that too and I've never seen one before either, had to look up the part number. it's a Mondial specific thing, it would never fit the 328 or 308's as the side gas tanks are in the way. even still, haven't seen it on the Mondials either.

    wonder what trouble it would be to OCR that book?
