I've had my 84 308 QV for 1 year and 11 days as of today. Had 47,000 when I bought it, and 50,350 as of today. 600 of those were the trip home after buying it. Very happy with the decision, I've really enjoyed it, although I still don't drive it as much as I'd like. It tends to sit in the garage a little too much due to my business getting busy (guitar shop) or bad weather. Took it out today, had been awhile, and it sure loves that 31 degree air (I guess all cars do)!

Here's a look at my year of ownership, regarding repairs and maintenance:
    Engine compartment hood struts $100
Coolant leak- just needed to tighten a lot of hose clamps, almost all hoses were new, and I changed out the upper radiator hose $15.00
    Brakes flushed $10.00
    Cleaned AAV $0
    Changed oil, 5w-50 Synthetic/Baldwin $60.00
    Balanced tires $65.00
Replaced missing GTSi dash logo $33.00
    Adjusted drivers side window $0
    K&N air filter $37.00
    Seats refinished $300.00
Test pipe $75.00 (seeing if that made a temp difference- discovered my cat had fallen apart internally)
Radiator cleaned and leak repaired $45.00
    Coolant flush & fill $50.00
    Coolant pipe hoses $20.00
    Cleaned all ground connections $0
Cleaned and soldered fusebox connections $0
    New copper fuses $10
Headlights $0 (came off my old 944 T)
    New fans $100
    New radiator cap $5.00

    $915
Not too bad, knocking on wood here... all in all, it's been a very dependable car. It was getting hot in summer traffic sitting, so I never got to autocross/track it. Hopefully will this summer.

I could have done more, but the car runs great and is quite usable as-is. Needs another tire balance, getting some vibration. The synthetic leaves a little spot in the garage floor, but it's not driving me crazy. I think an oil cooler hose washer will probably fix that. No major stuff, I did all of it myself except the radiator repair (I removed it) , seat refinish (I removed these also) and tire balance. It was a lot of fun, just taking stuff apart and getting to know the car, what neat cars these are!
