    Hi All,

I have a F12 2014 and just finishing my last year of free service. I am contemplating selling my car (35K miles) and am due to renew my warranty prior to expiration in Sept. Quoted $6495. 3 Questions

    1. Is the warranty negotiable and do you recommend I continue?

    2. Will Having the power warranty help resale value and or larger buyer audience? Will i get that extra $6500 back when i sell under the period or no difference?

    3. They quoted me $2600 to change brake fluids. sounds high, i assume I can get an independent to do it?

BTW- I do drive the car hard and track it- not much issues so far- gearbox replace 2 years ago under warranty.

    Advice and wisdom appreciated.

    thank you

@SAFE4NOW can chime in more on new power

i personally think buying with warranty is better, lots of people don't want to touch a out-of-warranty car

i think if it's a reputable indy you should have no problem, doesn't hurt to ask for a parts and labor breakdown and shop around the labor rate. parts you can google and see what's cheaper

    1. Sometimes, it can’t hurt to ask. If its being sold at MSRP, there isn’t that much room to negotiate.
( Unlike aftermarket warranty option that have much larger margins )

    2. My experience is a Ferrari with some factory warranty option, has more value than a like Ferrari w/o coverage. It may even offset the mileage and track use. Something to confirm, is that you are getting Main Power Warranty ( New Power coverage plus next years annual service ). The service being covered gives you roughly $2500 in value, IMO

    3. $2,600 sounds like an annual service:
    Oil Service
    Brake Flush
    Engine filters
    Cabin filters
    Coolant Flush
    Gearbox Service
    Wipers
    Etc....

    Brake Flush... $350 maybe ?

All over the above is my opinion, YMMV
