Apart from these cars catering to a world that is so far removed from my reality....there is NOT ONE car in that list that turns my crank.

    Expensive? You bet.

Desireable? (shrugging shoulders) Not to me.

Only 3 cars on there appeal to me

    • Bugatti Veyron 16.4 - Ugly, overhyped, overweight POS

    • Pagani Zonda Roadster F C12S 7.3 - Decent. Looks are interesting. Love the interior. My #1 choice

    • SSC Ultimate Aero - 630k? I think not

    • LeBlanc Mirabeau - Track Car. Will never be a "supercar". Save the money and buy a Radical

    • Saleen S7 Twin Turbo - Doesn't do anything for me

    • Koenigsegg CCR - Stunning car. Ford engine puts me off it a bit but a true engineering marvel. #2 for me though

    • Venturi Fetish - Are you serious? 300hp and electric?!?! Is this a joke? Buy an Opel Speedster, nobody will be able to tell the difference

    • Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren - Overhyped. Decent car. Cashing in on the McLaren name though. Doesn't do anything for me

    • Maybach 62 - Its not a car...its a boat. It certainly doesn't belong on this list. How many maybach's have you seen at the track lately?

    • Porsche Carrera GT - Not sure on the looks but one heck of a car. #3 for me

If the yellow European car is listed yet it is not street legal in the US, then why isn't the FXX listed? Also for sale to people here, but not street legal. Some slick cars but the Maybach doesn't do anything for me personally. I would rather Have a RR Phantom (but I'd take my 348 or Infiniti Q45t over either).

I agree entirely with your cut there Chris, only 3 truly desirable cars for me and its the same three as you!
As for the Maybach, if I wanted to go on the sea I'd buy a Sunseeker :D

I read about the Bugatti Veyron in the robb report dec. 05' issue, they had like a 5 page article about it, lotta mumbo-jumbo if you ask me, personally I think the car is flat out ugly and just not my kind of car....On the other hand I have a saleen mustang (05') simply love it, for what the car is worth I think it performs exceptionally which brings me to the saleen s7, I must admit if I had 400g to burn on a car it would NOT be this one but I do like it because I can only imagine what steve saleen could do to a car that he fully developed with performance enhancement rather than a mustang that he just added to.

saw one last summer at mosport on the track...so lorne pulled out the phantom and took that on...you know ...to "one up" him.

no offense but the CCR's engine has been modified and worked on so much that it is almost pure Koenigsegg(sp) and not Ford.
