10-year-old Boy + First Ride + GTO = Magic

Since the weather has cooled off here, the landlord scheduled the annual swimming pool maintenance for this month. One of the maintenance tasks they are doing is a full re-grout of the tiles on the sides and bottom of the pool.

The gentleman who is doing the work started yesterday afternoon (just after we got home from the gig at the beach resort). He is a Lebanese Christian, and is here with his family (wife, 10-year-old son, and 3-year-old daughter).

When he saw the Ferrari, he mentioned that his son would love to see it, and would that be possible?

I told him "Of course! Bring him by in the morning, and we'll go out for a ride."

He said he told his son when he got home, and that this morning, his son came and excitedly woke him up at 6 am, saying "Come On! Let's go!"

They came at 7:30...and the look on Johnny's face when I started the car was priceless! The Tubi was really singing this morning.

After it warmed up, we hopped in the car for a ride to an area called "Al Bida" and to the area Starbucks for some hot chocolate for Johnny, American coffee for his father, George, and a couple of Mocha Frappacinos for my wife and I.

We pulled up to the Starbucks, and parked next to this beautiful GTO.

Between the ride in the 355, and seeing a GTO live and in person, Johnny was speechless.

It was a great morning... for both of us!

After we got home, my wife printed out the picture on Photo paper, and we gave to him as a 'memento' of the day.
