..well bear in mind it is a "readers poll", and yes British. Though, I personally think the Brits general populace have a better grasp on motoring than we do. So, no it is not the definite 100 most beautiful cars of all time by any stretch (nor will this list ever be agreed upon).

The majority of those cars are some of the most horrendous looking cars ever made. To call some of those cars beautiful would require massive quantities of crack. To rank them in the top 100 most beautiful of all time? They would need to just about OD on the stuff. Funny there isnt a Chrysler K car or Fiat Ritmo on the list.

Yeah some serious UK bias on that one. I wonder if they will vote the Alfa Romeo Competizione 8c in it.

Well, not to split hairs, but I think we can agree that it's a list of 100 cars that were made at some point.

The Europa IS beautiful in the flesh, especially the TC version as pictured at #80. I admit they don't photograph well, more often than not. They are very low (42") which makes them look balanced and agressive, and they have a lot of compound curves. Unfortunately, in pictures they look flat and awkward.

And yet there's still just one Ferrari on the list (#77 - Ferrari 250 GT California)

Perhaps they're saving them up for the Top 40 :)

I don't know... There are a lot of Peugeots and Citroens that haven't been named. Competition could be fierce. :)

But it will be interesting to see all the Ferraris that rate ahead of the dowdy old 250 GT Spyder CA.

    LMAO. :) Funny.

I love how # 85 is a Land Rover. It's like, pretty car, pretty car, I kiiiinda see where they get that one from, pretty car, BAM!! Land Rover. WTF??

It's funny how people have different senses of beauty. When I look at a list like that and see British influence, I can appreciate their eye for lines and such. The classic long bonnet coupe will always look pretty no matter how old it is.

I have to say that I'm a little jealous, as it's obvious that the British think this way because they were spoiled by the Aston's.

    Damn. I wish I was spoiled by Aston's. :)

21 through 40 are up....a few Ferrari's sneaking in. So it is looking doubtful that a 308 will make the top 100. Stupid poll, who posts this crap anyway!! At least a TR6 made the list....

Well I was right :D Seven more Ferrari's made the Top 40:

    77 - Ferrari 250 GT California
As seen in Ferris Bueller's Day Off (although that was actually a replica - the director couldn't afford to hire a real one)

    38 - Ferrari 365
Better known as the Daytona. Irresistible as a coupé, doubly so as a spyder (of which 122 examples were built, only seven of them with right-hand drive).

    37 - Ferrari 275 GTB
Reputedly Claude Lelouch's car of choice for tearing through crepuscular Paris at about 140mph (if you haven't yet seen C'était un rendezvous, stop whatever you're doing and buy it now).

    25 - Ferrari 330 P4
Beat Ford on its home soil to win the 1967 Daytona 24 Hours, but the GT40s were too strong at Le Mans.

    20 - Ferrari 288 GTO
Homologation special built to comply with regulations for a race series that was abandoned almost before it started.

    18 - Ferrari 250 GT SWB
Shortened wheelbase sweetened the handling and spawned a racetrack colossus.

    10 - Ferrari 250 GTO
A paragon of balance, on road or track. The downside? Ferrari built just 36 of them.

    4 - Ferrari Dino 206/246 GT
Pretty Pininfarina-styled sports car named after Enzo Farrari’s son. Launched in 1967, it was never actually marketed as a Ferrari but became the company’s first significant seller when engine was uprated to 2.4 litres two years later.

If it's any consolation the 288 GTO made the list at #20, basically a 308 on steroids :D

Too bad the Citroen DS beat the 250 GTO...

Well, I can't argue with the Ferraris they picked. But I might have had a few more on the list -- I detect a bias for the older cars.

I owned a red/black all original 246 dinogt for about 12 years. I can't tell you how many people came up to the car and said it was "the most beautiful car the had ever seen." Many had never seen one in the flesh and a surprising amount of people had no idea who made it. I'd give them the "Dino" story and people were always fascinated.

So, occuring to my personal polling, the 246 should be number 1!

I checked the link. They deserve to be included in the list. I mean, the selection of cars is totally radical. The ugliest car was really ugly. I thought it was a toy car. And i don't believe it's a real car either because the auto parts are not so detailed. It's ugly...super ugly!
