    We're organizing a cannonb.... I mean BBQ run in a few months from my place to a bbq joint in Florida in a few months.

    leave Thorndale around 12:30am on a Saturday night.

    arrive in orlando around 4pm.

    eat and then relax

    stay over night

    visit universal studio's

    drive home next day or so

    Would anybody be interested in participating?

    Right now we're in the planning stages and are looking at $100 per car and half will go to a charity.

    Any feedback is welcomed.

    Just a suggestion, don't post that there can be winner or a prize for, presumably, the quickest driver down to Florida. You can wind up in all sorts of trouble for that.

    Otherwise, keep in mind that the Auto-train by Amtrak goes from Sanford FL (near Orlando) to DC overnight. It's a nice way to get home and get some sleep.
