101 Cars You Must Drive is WORSE than Supercars Exposed

agreed. Speed needs some new writers, these shows are awful.

 

A few years ago I couldn't wait for my cable provider to pickup Speed Channel. Now I would pay a premium if they would remove it.

 

What happened to Speedvision? =/

I just moved dwellings. When I transferred the cable over, I just told them to remove Speed. No need. I don't want to see Pinks, nor three dorks guessing on Pass Time, and especially not Unique Whips... horrible horrible idea.

 

It seems like those 3 shows, along with the "Low Lifes" account for 88% of their total programing, & I can't handle watching any of them. While it's not great, 101 is watchable I think, I just saw one episode.

 

I think 101 is fun to watch...the host is a funny guy...its light auto entertainment... is not supposed to teach you all the vehicles specs...

 

I was disappointed with it. I did like that they had a Studebaker but there was no substance-- all fluff.

Just because they don't feature that @$$clown Clarkson in either one of them doesn't mean they are awfull. Some of you people need to understand that not all automotive related shows aren't top gear nor everbody loves clarksons views. Id like to hear from others walks of life to you know .

I do agree Supercars exposed does need some work and maybe VRAlexander himself would make a much better host than Tanner Foust its not as bad as all those damn NASCAR shows thats on Speed now.

BTW What the hell happend to Victory by design? I haven't watch that in years and Sports car revolution, dream car garage? Those where great shows.

This is all very maddening for me. When I got speed last year it was the realization of a 10 year dream. Now I avoid at all costs unless there is an F1 race. If someone could clue me in to a way I could watch F1 online, I wouldn't hesitate terminating my subscription.

fyi... I canceled speedvision...er...speedtv, the unique whips channel - consisting of a bunch of morons installing 24" rims and calling themselves customizers.

Couldn't take it anymore. Sure, some good stuff on there, but it is very difficult to find. If we want enthusiast shows, they'll recommend nopi vision. Ugh.

 

F1 is the only thing worth watching on Speed these days, I had hoped that some of these new shows would worthwile, but alas I was wrong again. The Ferrari Legende shows were good earlier this year. It is ironic that I have to watch BBC America for decent automotive shows. SPEED TV may want to rename themselves as "Bling TV". I try to look at it on the positive side, I have much more time to do important things in life, knowing that other than Hobbs, Varsha and Matchett, I will not spend much time in front of the idiot box.

SPEED totally sux.
Cars are such a huge worldwide fascination....why isn't there ONE decent channel devoted to cars and racing (all types of racing not just endless hours of Nascar).
Meanwhile there seems to be a channel devoted to every meaningless facet of life, from cooking, to eating weird food, to buying a house for $100 and filling it with crap from Target to try and make it not look like a redneck white-trash tariler.....I could go on, but I'm sure you don't want me to.

 

It's a shame we don't get MotorsTV in the US. That would be a perfect substitute. SuperGT, FIA GT, and so much more racing.

 

At least Unique Whips, Pinks and Low Life are something you can turn the sound off of and have something interesting on the TV screen on Saturday mornings.

The WORST show on Speed is Two Guys Garage. The guy with the beard is such a whip. Good automotive TV does not consist of changing the mass air flow sensors on a 1999 Chevy Malibu!

N/S the only thing worth watching on SPEED now is the F1 coverage.

 

I really like super cars exposed- besides F1 - its pretty much the only thing I watch on Speed.
You guys really seem sto dislike Tanner- I think he is a pretty humble relatable guy- and a pretty darn good driver to boot.
Just my opinion

Pinks - with the sound ON is unbearable. Half of Speeds lineup seems to use death metal as filler between the hosts speaking.
They know their audience better than we do - its apparently its hicks amped on mountain dew

 

IMO, Leno should have done 101 Cars You Must Drive. He would def. given a better insight to each of the cars he's driven.

Speaking of what Speed shows & doesn't show anymore, they actually had the Koni Challenge Series on last night. I can't remember the last time at all, that Speed showed a support race for a larger series.

 

My wife caught me watching "Living the Low Life" this weekend. She said why are you watching that crap? Than the host walked into the picture. OWNED!
