As i rework all four corners my question is as follows...i will probably install Eibach springs,..350 front,300 rear. Is it neccesary to revalve the Koni shocks on the car,or can they be reinstalled as is? I appreciate your input and advice.

Sir: I felt they might not be as "springy"as they were 38 years ago. I will at least know if they are still the correct unladen length when i remove them. I felt it might cost as much to have them tested as to buy new ones. At least i shall clean them up and paint them.....all input is appreciated.....thanks

No problem I was just curious. I am one of the biggest cheerleaders for the GT4 out there. FWIW I measured mine when I took them off and they were within the specs. I think replacing the shocks and bushings which are still available at the moment i the smartest thing to do. There are also several places a well known one in LA that ebuilds the shocks like new and they are adjustable for tension. The GT4 is cool as it sits lower on its body than the 308GTB/S. I have seen some with replaced shocks riding a bit high. If you want any GT manual email me I have mani in pdf format.

BTW I am not a sir more like a "dude" :p
