    Small turnout, but it was good to see everyone this morning who did show! Got to give Mike his first ride in a GT4, got to see Brian Harper's new white '75 GT4 (LOVE it, btw, Brian!), got to inspect a Caddy XLR-V up close, and on the way out, this little gem caught my eye! DAMN what a gorgeous shape, and near perfect in this shade of red....

    I got a ride in the PerfusionMobile today, very cool! Very race car like, and it handled much better than I expected. Fun car!!

    Things I learned today:

    No way, no how can I fit in a Testarossa

    I do fit in a GT4 and find them pretty derned interesting

    Lots of parts from the GT4 are shared with other italian and german cars of the same era

    Your car is in the Top 5 of all cars I have seen since I have been in California. You just never see them. I would like to see it in black someday!!! ;-)

    Well, this was probably my best SR meet. First of all, I got to drive my very own Ferrari to the meet for the first time. The turn out was low, but GT4s were very well represented! Then I mentioned in conversation that the temp permit on my car is because I need to have the CHP do a VIN verification on my car before I can get plates. Someone in the crowd (do you want to be outed as law enforcement on the board?) piped up that he could do it and even showed the badge. Good enough for me! So I got my DMV paperwork completed. Then Mike gave me a ride in his 360. Very nice, and it is obvious he really likes his car. He had a big grin the whole he was driving it. That's what this really about, right? Thanks for the ride!

    I wish I'd seen the Dino on the way out. Did you recruit him for Saturday mornings? I think that might be the prettiest car ever made.

    I finally brought a camera and took exactly one picture.
