    Another stellar car, this time sold for $ 2,365,000.
    The 1958 Ferrari GT Coupe' Speciale # 1187GT
    The big question : The vent grille on the front fenders/mudguards. Are these part of the original design and build of the car ?

    Yes, this is a special one-off, not to be confused with a stock standard 250 GT Coupé Pinin Farina. The only one with this body. Specially built for the first owner Emanuele Nasi, an engineer resident at Torino, Italy. Nasi was a special customer of the Ferrari factory and a member of the Agnelli family, his father Carlo Nasi had married Aniceta Agnelli. 1187 GT was also shown at international motor shows.

    The 1187GT was registered in Turin, after Nasi it was sold to Ferdinando Gatta, a Lancia driver and sports car dealer, married to the third daughter of Vincenzo Lancia.
