Yes red, it was a fun day. Almost as fun, as when Allan was around. I didn't know about the website till this AM, when another member alerted me. Nothing glamorous.
This school yard (elementary) behavior is getting old. I'm one Rossa subscriber that's tired of going into new posts and seeing rude comments to other members. The issue with Gentry is troubling because the issues are not specific with any particular issue needing discussion. I could understand a disagreement on an issue and difference of opinion, but to just keep "tar and feathering" a person is just harassment. I would like to see an end to it. If you want to take issue with Gentry then do it in a mature way. FWIW - I don't know if this guy is for real, but why do you care so much? It looks like he has a lot of interests that may, someday, turn into something. A lot of the guys posting seem to be good guys, I just don't think they see how it looks from a removed perspective. Rob, what is your position on this?
You got that right - possibly the most generic-looking website i've ever seen. No pics? It just doesn't even make sense.
I've been on the same users for weeks for breaking forum rules towards Gentry. I've warned a few individually, but sent a mass PM out to 7 users this morning saying they better not say another word, or they will be banned. Besides the Gentry thing, I think everything has been decent overall. If you don't like something, ignore it or report it, if you think its breaking forum rules.
I agree & I am glad to see the matter is being addressed. I'd hate to see these guys banned, but it's good you called 'em on it.

Sfumato, I went back to the "Cigar" thread that you referenced. I'd like to see what you think is appropriate for this type of harassment. I know I'd be pissed if almost every time I opened a thread there were rude comments about me. Something to think about when you consider his responses.
I didn't say I liked harassment of anyone, first of all. Secondly, some of it was brought on by his own behavior, ie jets, investment opportunities, yada yada. Thirdly, I like cigars, opened a thread about them, and voila, I'm told to fock myself? I didn't harass him, he is on IGNORE. But the quotes were there to see. What a waste of time and bandwidth.
I was very specific as to who was told they could self fornicate. I said anyone who was hijacking the thread and flaming in there could. If you werent flaming or hijacking the thread, you werent told to self fornicate.
Take it off the board then. Otherwise they quote you, and here we are. I opened your response as I don't agree with the crap going on, but it is still better than some in the past. I know these guys, and they don't hammer someone unless they have earned it in my experience.
