Had a Nero Daytona (metallic) 458 spider. The 12C has the front nose stripe done with Nero Daytona metallic paint . If the exterior color is the same Daytona paint , then the stripe almost disappears. A pure glossy Nero would create a little more contrast. At least this is what I think. Would love to hear from people who have seen both glossy black and metallic black 12C’s
At least here in the USA market, the 12 C will not be the last ICE So the 12C doesn’t have to be your last dream car. Spending a huge waste of money on silly options may not be a mandatory forced decision Rest assured you can spec a very nice car using a bit of common sense But there are plenty of people who don’t give a wit about over spending say 250,000 on paints and special leather and custom carbon fiber. This is who Ferrari values as their future clients. Also don’t drive the car. And don’t ever sell the car. Keep it in your private collection. Sign up for all those $15,000 driving events and buy the special FXX models which Ferrari keeps for you. Then fly the Factory support team and your non-street legal Ferrari around the world for those special events.
I was watching Doug DeMuro on his podcast and he was going over how the demographic of Ferrari customers is changing and shifting younger and towards first time buyers. I think this is a very calculated move by Ferrari (now a public company) to sell more cars and part of the reason why we see some people on this forum complaining. The "game" that a lot of people spent lots of time and money playing ... is shifting and I can totally understand why they don't like it. At the same time, I also think it's also very good for Ferrari as it will ensure its financial health as a company for many years to come. They should at least make sure they still allocate "special" cars to those who still want to play the game ... but for everyone else ... these requirements should go away or change significantly.
A classic Ferrari paint color is Marrone seen here on this coupe > Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Need to see the raw image file This picture has so much post production effects that the true color probably looks very different in real life
Topaz didn't mention the paint color for this one. Has more orange like you see in Rosso Fuoco so maybe not Imola.
I can't comment on the technical details but the photographer knew this paint as Marrone which was a choice for the 365 GTB/4 Daytona among other models.
Never seen this color in person. i have no reference point. All of the colors in the photo are not real Look at the color rendering of the sky and the road. thanks for posting. looks like its a bronze gold metallic
Did anyone here buy a car in Rosso Imola? I am 90% sure I want to go for it ... but still haven't seen one in the metal.
I don't like that color, it is far too dark for me in cloudy weather conditions. I'd recommend to search for nearby cars in that color so that you can see if you like that color.
I drove a Rosso Imola coupe last weekend. The color was awesome in the sunlight! The car attracted lots of “thumbs up.” Image Unavailable, Please Login
This 12 Cilindri wears Verde Oliva paint. For the interior the familiar Iroko is the dominant color. An interesting build specification when in the past mostly standard colors were found among the early builds. I have an allocation for the 12 cilindri but I’m still not decided on the color. I’m thinking between sanu silver and Aluminio lucido. I haven’t seen neither live. But in photos both look beautiful. What are your thoughts pls? Thanks
here is sanu silver in a 12c under lights. Very nice. Much less gold (less warm) than AL. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login here is AL under both inside lights and outside.
Thanks well appreciated. Both are nice but I’m leaning more towards the sanu it looks better with the black accents.
