Yes - we had lunch, but cavallino is not the same as before the refurbishment some years ago. The interior is nice and suits the new „cavallino-design“, but the food was better in previous times. This is not only my personal view, but the impression of many visitors having lunch together wit us. But you can still eat very good at Montana and Lo Smeraldo…
I disagree. I'm 68 years old and just bought my very first black car. Never really liked the color until I saw this 812SF. Just stunning. Just a theory, but maybe as a person gets older, we tend to go towards the "less attention getting" colors? Image Unavailable, Please Login
And, since I live near Daytona, Florida, here is my new (to me) Nero Daytona 812SF. Love this car! https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/149702667/
The 812 looks 'marvelous' in Nero and Daytona Nero! I was on the wait list for the coupe and I never got an allocation! Then i was on the new wait list for a spider and yup never got an allocation. Its a tough market for new here in SoCal Big congrats to both. Hope you also got a no GPF car too
I think the black parts on this car are more successful than on the F80. The black stripe on the nose of the 12C fits the front and the lighting very nicely. On the F80, somehow it is a little less successful since the lights don’t reach the full width of the stripe. I also think a black 12C loses a lot of identity. I can see this look really making the 12C feel fresh and attractive over the coming years.
thanks for the pics unfortunately it looks even more subdued in person next to other regular cars i suppose if you want a lowkey supercar this would be it... but then why spend 500k on it just get a Porsche 911
Thank you! The Nero Daytona color is a metallic paint with tiny flecks of gold. I searched buying a 812SF for months and finally found a good deal from the San Diego Ferrari dealer. One of my daughters lives there and went to check it out. It's a 2018 with 5K miles. I got a 2 year "Power 15" factory warranty, new tires and a new PPF. Then they shipped it in a enclosed truck from San Diego to NE Florida. Been loving it ever since. Bought it this last June. I rolled the dice and didn't get a PPI done. My daughter has a keen eye though, so I gave her a list of what to look for.
Nero Daytona —I owned a 458 spider in that color and drove her everyday —145,000 miles Good to have the factory extended warranty! Change the oil every 5K and both DCT fluids at 40K.
I have a very enjoyable and solitary drive to work everyday. Hardly any traffic and only a handful of traffic stops Ive driven high mileage for the 360 Modena coupe, California, 458 spider and now F8 spider Did not own 458 Italia coupe.
233 000 km in a Ferrari ? woaaa you Sir , are my hero ahah Enormous respect. I'm not even sure there are so many people on earth that drove more Ferrari miles, even with different cars
Hopefully the Factory test drivers will put the test cars to 100,000 miles. Then get the car analyzed. Shouldnt be hard to do. Drive the test car day and night for 4 months. I think my total mileage is as follows 360 (67,000) California (64,000) 458 spider (145,000) and F8 spider (44,000 ) Current total approx 320,000 miles and counting Cant wait to start driving my first v12, the do-dichi cilindri Oh wait --But after the new model is tested to 100,000, keep it in the driving team. Let factory workers drive it and see if the cars can get to 200,000 miles See what breaks and what gets worn out. Then ponder if those parts can be made more durable or re designed without compromising the performance
I haven't got my red shirt as a tech.l yet. But as an owner having replaced and serviced Getrag DCTs, there is transmission fluid and gear fluid which live in separate sides of the box

I am preferring the Spider so far, the back on the Coupe tries too hard to mimic the back on the 365 GTB/4, well to my eyes at least. Perhaps the in person it will look a lot better.
