Well of the "supercars" that Ferrari has built which one do you think is the best looking?

To me it has to be either the F40 or the Enzo
The F40 is pure raw and nothing but race. I love it.
The Enzo screams race but yet it still has civilized features...like inside door handles.

    I voted F40.

I voted for the F40. It is what I grew up, drooling for one at least. The Enzo is nice, but for raw appeal, the F40 just does something for me.

Going by looks, and looks alone, nothing even comes close to the artistic lines of the 288gto in my opinion.

While it's performance/handling may pale slightly compared to it's newer replacements, it can still hold it's own against many of the modern exotics. That is pretty impressive considering the car is almost 20 years old.

Toss up, F40 or 288GTO, I like that both are turbos, a model that I think Ferrari should offer again in the near future.

Asinine comment, particularly with how fast some GTO's have been timed, but anyway my vote goes to the 288.

It's amazing how it went from a pedestrian looking so-so car (308) into one of the all time greats with the addition of just a few flares, some vents, and a whole lot better engine. Just a great car. :)

Maybe so, but to me it doesnt compare with the others. The 288 is like the grandfather; knows a lot but has lost talent to the kids.

    Hands down the F40, next; 288GTO, F50, & Enzo.

There is too much technology in the Enzo & F50.

I like them all almost equally.....since I cannot own them yet, I just admire all four. Never been in these cars driving either, so I don't even know how it sounds or run!!!

288 is the Godfather, F40 is Gumball Rally, F50 is Star Wars, and Enzo is SW-Attack of Clones.

I think the best looking supercar is the F40 - Just for its over the top exoticness.

Which would I rather own? The 288GTO is just beautiful & reminds me of the 328. :)

The 288 to may looks like a 308 on steriods.I love the front F1 nose on the enzo but i think as a compete package i went with the F50.Although it looks a liitle sedate compared to the Enzo.

288 has classic shape. F40 has boxy lines. F50 returns to form. I would buy???

F40 all the way, but DAMN that 288 is giving me the evil eye. A very hard call....but I picked the F40.

    Cheers,

F40 no question! Very raw looking for a "road car" but somehow...just right.

288GTO- Kinda over-styled for a 308/328 derivative (well...its kinda a derivative of a 308/328, but not much is left...). Beautiful, yes, but to me it lacks the elegance of the 328 and the finished look of the later F40. Im sure if I saw one in real-life Id piss myself :)

F50- Looks like 333SP to me, which is good, but those headlights are just wrong for the car. Plus the rear challenge grill thingy looks cheap for a 390k car. Pinin has done better.

Enzo- First thoughts upon seeing it: HELL NO! NOT THIS, ANYTHING BUT THIS!! But now having gotten accustomed to it, its still ugly but not to the point of a headache. IMO that dude that styled it at Pinins shop should be exiled before he gets to the 428 Monza, but its too late now :(
That is not to say that I wouldnt like to have one :)

Last September at the Morristown, NJ concours we had multiple Enzos, an F40 or two, a 288GTO but for some reason when a silver F50 pulled in, engine roaring, half the crowd rushed over to it. It was a show stopper. Ever since then it's been my favorite.

On looks alone - the F40 - a true work of art.

Well I haven't told you guys my picks.

    1) F50 GT1, is to date, in my opinion, the best looking Ferrari of all time. It is so very agressive, exotic, yet modern looking. A shame it was never raced. If it weren't for the GT1 the plain old F50 would have been my second choice.

    2) F40, even to this day it is still as exotic and raw as is was when it first came out.

    3) 288GTO, is the car that started it all. It has all the timeless lines that a Ferrari should always have.

    4) Enzo, the performance is impressive, but the car just doesn't do it for me. Especially the goofy wannabe F1 nose. I hate that thing. The rest of the design is fine, but I just can't get over the uglyness of the nose.
