Bought all my cars to keep (328 & 550), but they immediately shot up in value & I had the opportunity to move to a newer model. This is a different story. Now: there are 3 blemishes & 1 thing on the dash worth Mentioning Blemish 1&2) On the Driver Side Buttress (which is easily removeable) there looks to be rust. However, when you press your finger there are not bubbles. It is firm and has been painter over. Obviously, a new owner would most likely want to remove buttress and perform correction for approx. $400. Blemish 3) Pass Side bumper sticks out about an 1/8 of an inch. Most likely from taking a parking lot angle too steep Dash) Slight indentation on dash. Leather adheres to indentation. It is not; I repeat, is not coming up. It adheres to the material underneath *That's IT - I have represented this car to the best of my ability and posted much better pictures than the last time. Hope to talk soon & Big thanks to the community of guys who busted my chops only to make me better & in an attempt to assist!!! Interesting series of cars you have had over the last few years, Sean. All the best for your next investment /adventure!
Paul, Hope you are well~! I was able to pay it forward this past summer before I purchased the 599 with an F-Chatter in NY who came down. Provided him a garage to use for the long weekend while he stayed at the beach!
Ive seen this car in person, its truly brilliant. I just wish i had the extra room. GLWS, sorry to see it go.
Sean, well done. May be cheapest 599 on the market but its still a good chunk of cash and ad should present buyers with this kind of upgraded presentation. GLWS, John
Sean- Cannot believe someone has not jumped on your 599 before this. By far the most Ferrari for the money on the market today.
This. Unbelievable. Sean, have you really double checked your method at this point? Look hard at dealer photos and do a photo shoot identical to a dealer. Look at their text and mimic to the extent possible. Then launch ads all at once on cars.com, autotrader, dupont, FML, fchat, f****, ebay, everywhere all at once, right around March 1. Don't lower your price anymore, at least IMHO. Stick to your guns. I have no earthly idea why you haven't sold it yet. I actually really hope you find a way to keep her. But if not, use tried and true methodology to get it max exposure at peak season with a perfect ad and it should move just fine.
worth thinking about if you add to the price and try for $130k (rather than $127k). I imagine the mileage (higher than the "don't drive it, just look at it and say you own it" ferrari standard) and the color (black is a love it or don't touch it color) are the only reasons this car hasn't moved. Only other reasons would have to be even more irrational than those GLWS.
Thank you all for the kind comments and pat on the back for my actions in response to your suggestions!!! *No one in my area I'd trust to take care of those things correctly. Also, not going to drive any distance and risk an accident while trying to sell*
John, Your comment means a great deal to me. Pumped to see you active on the forum. Very thankful for your recovery! If you've been following this you know that I am selling this vehicle in order to further my reach in real estate. Following in your footsteps and trying to make an impact just like you.
the bubbling is some sort of chemical reaction. i think i saw something on aluminum and steel reaction.
Came across matching luggage set on Ebay in case someone wants to add that to the package: Ferrari Luggage Set | eBay No affiliation with seller of luggage or car - just noticed it is matching interior color - I keep looking for my own cars without luck...
