polestar type ugly
Very typical new car release reactions: Stage 1 - I hate it - very ugly. Fire the designer. Ferrari has lost its way. Bring back Pinninfarina. Stage 2- I saw it in person not so bad Stage 3- I hate my dealer he won’t give me an allocation Stage 4- dude! Why are there so many available on autotrader for over msrp? Stage 5- Dude- market is tanking on these. we are currently at the beginnings of stage 1.
Is this a client one-off based on the 812? or an actual new model? It’s interesting resto take on the old Daytona for a one-off……. but only for that. But as a new model? Just not great. Ugly even at first glance. What’s going on with the two-tone rear? A downgrade from F12 and 812 for sure…… Yikes. I’d have to see it without any two-tone paint and that would clean it up a lot. Like that winged out 296 stripe livery that nobody would spec.
It looks like all the worst parts of the more recent Special Project cars thrown together. Rather clumsy looking to me. Paul
This sickens me. I lost faith in a lot of what Ferrari was doing, however the 812 still seemed like an exciting car that I actually wanted! While the engine is exciting, this monstrosity being the successor is extremely disappointing. I'm 33 right now clutching onto what Ferrari was. While most of you got to see the beautiful analog sports cars reach their pinnacle through your lives, I get to see it's downfall through mine. Might as well have made it an EV at this point as I no longer care. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I love how they try to give nods to previous models that Enzo was involved in while ignoring how he is rolling in his grave. Sent from my toilet using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I can't see how the 12 C is 205mm wider than an 812. Surely that measurement must be mirror to mirror on the 12 C vs door to door on the 812, otherwise the 12 C would be nearing a total width of 2.5m mirror to mirror.
i think mr manzoni needs to stop doing this type of retro ****... since laferrari most of his designs are not getting better... i remember seeing 90s and 80s ferraris on posters and i fell in love instantly now it looks like i am looking at a japanese/korean design or something else.. no traces of italian voluptuousness.. and lack of originality in design.. at first you hate it then you started to love it.. i think most of us forced to love new designs.. consciously or unconsciously.. i also think ferrari fans or customers deserve something new. a change in taste . just appoint a new design director...
There won't be any dramatic difference. I would love to see a Testarossa-like Ferrari in the lineup and not a one-off, but I'm afraid its gonna look ridiculous 'cos of the plethora of safety and "green" regulations.
It doesn't even look korean or japanese styling, it is just plain garbage from manzoni. I'd even find the simple looking hyundai i30 more elegant looking compared to this ugly thing called 12cilindri. Why don't they just mass-produce that ferrari omologata. I mean the ferrari omologata is what the 812 superfast should have been in the first place. Yes I won't change my opinion on manzoni. Fire this idiot, he is to "edgy" for ferrari. This 12cilindri will make the aston dbs successor look better upon its release. Ferrari V12 celebration my ass, this car is like the f8 tributo a discordant ugly thing
Appears to be a somewhat lukewarm reception here on FC,so far.SF90 was similar iirc. Was hoping for a serious dose of passion/fizz/even goosebumps ...but little sign of that appearing.Anyway...
I was concerned when I saw the white coupe photos first. But then these turned me back around: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
