Whoa! I don't even know where the nearest cemetery is! Good topic though, time to go hunting.

I'll have to try to get back into this one. Luckily I have several cemeteries close by. One of them I've been meaning to check out as there are some old military headstones.

This may be an oddball question, but what's the proper etiquette for taking photos at a cemetery? I've only ever been to one for a funeral. Is it ok to just park, walk around, and take some shots???

I have been to two cemeteries so far. Have a few options but I'm planning on hitting up a few more before the deadline.

I'm hoping for some rolling thunderclouds and light rain but no luck so far :(

    Doesn't matter ;)

You won last months, meaning you can't win again, or that was the logic last time around :D

    What he said.

Found a nice cemetery (not sure nice is the appropriate word here), but in clear sunlight none of this looks like anything. And the cemetery closes for the night. :(

I suggested to bring a ladder and climb the wall for a night shoot, but my wife didn't want to hear any of that. Go figure.

I climbed a pretty tall tree but then the branches blocked any good view I thought I had. Bummer...

    LOL

We should get extra points for trying. :)

I found another cemetery where the fence isn't so tall, so maybe with a foot stool I can just shoot over it. Hoping no cop comes by.

We have rain and thunderstorms in the forecast for next week, so here is hoping. Might have to take the day off to get this done though.

In Europe last month. This sarcophagus, with its knightly symbolism, was particularly thrilling to see. Shot out of the acceptable date range, so not an entry.

Man, I've been slacking on this so bad.

Everytime I get some time to go shoot, BAM, school gets in the way.

I had the idea of along with a real photo contest why not try a Photoshop contest as well. I entered a few 'shops in a couple contests on another site a while back and it was pretty cool. Chose a simple photo of a car for everyone to use and go at it. Be creative by adding your interrpretations of what would make it better, or how you would change it if you owned it. Then everyone votes for their favorite 'shop just like this contest.

It was pretty fun. Anyone want to give it a go?

Not my game anymore, did it before I joined Ferrarichat. Don't like it anymore, no time, and just retarded people were winning them. The ugliest ones IMO.

Streetfire has these car challenges, for example, a Caddilac XLR and you photoshop it, and the one wins. Then they choose a picture and rinse and repeat.

EDIT: Wow, I must be out of it, I thought I read your post, and didn't see anything about the car thing posted, must be a ninja edit or I missed it :D

Some crazy stupid ones were winning the ones I was in but it doesn't seem like we have those people on FChat. I think it could work.
