182 mph or so?
I believe so.
The car generates 4g's in that turn, too
For us F1 dummies, that at Monza?
Damn that is a nice track!
A fav for most of the drivers!
Personally I hate Suzuka, so technical, really difficult to get a good path through the three esses after the first turn. No wonder they have the hardest turn in F1, being a test track and all.
I think Mexico used to have the thoughest G inducing turn. And before that I believe it was Monza's parabolica (not sure though, as that turn is so long you almost drive it as two turns).
Bring back Interlagos!!! One of my favs, as well as Aida!!!
What do you mean bring back? Interlagos is scheduled towards the end of the season this year.
What about the last turn at Indy (you know turn 1 in the indy car direction), the cars are up near 200 on their way to 230 just before braking into a 60 MPH turn!
If any track needs to be ressurected, it is the OLD Nurburgring, even though it was very dangerous
I switched tracks. Bring back Aida, it's one of my favorites as well as Interlagos
Interlagos is fun for the TV audience, but not so much for the drivers nor the local audience. But I'm glad we have at least one GP in South America.
I'd like to see the Argentinian GP back. Even if the track wasn't much.
Peralta. Now that was a corner. Do you remember Mansell in the Ferrari passing Berger on the outside in '90. Fantastic!
130R was the fastest last season but this year Spa is back and both Eau Rouge and Blanchimont are faster I think they take Blanchimont at 195mph in the dry and maybe 190 in the wet. Not sure about how fast they take Eau Rouge but JPM reckoned the last tine they were there he was flat in top gear. That year he couldn't see which way the F cars went as they disspaeared into the distance.
Your top speed number is a bit high when compared to the FIA info and the speed through 1 is listed as 90mph.
A graphic display of the tracks and speeds for each corner are available on the FIA's website. Be advised that some of their speed numbers seem to be listed backward--kph and mph.

I only looked at Indy, Suzuka and Spa(2002), but Indy's turn 13 looks to be the fastest.
