Just read it. All models get a good review but the rawness of the earlier cars ie Gt4 and GTB is what they seem to like.

The Borders by me just put the April issue out... sigh.... Looks like we'll be waiting for the May one for a bit.. It's issue 83 by the way that has our beloved 3X8s in it.

Actually it's one of few magazines I even bother with anymore. I'll definitely look for the May issue.

R&T, C&D, Automobile, MT, etc., are pretty much carbon copies of each other.

I knew it had to happen if I kept my car long enough....:)

I suspect it won't be too many more years before we start to see more and more $$ spent on high quality restorations and show quality makeovers vs the bandaid fixes that seem to be typically done now in many cases.

however.... if you like 4 door astons then April is your magazine! I almost bought it since I've always kinda liked the 80s Lagonda.... In a door stop kind of way.

I've been a subscriber to Octane for about a year now and received my May issue about a week ago. Here's what the Editor, Robert Coucher said in the lead-in editorial:

"But as time moves along, these mid-engined Ferraris now look really stylish in that singular way in which Italian design just gets better with age. The upshot is that values are on the rise and all the 308 series models, especially the later 328s, are in strong demand. Not surprisingly, as these powerful V8 sports cars are absolutely fantastic to drive."

    Yep.

I had a friend in the UK pick one up and mail it to me. Got it last week. Good article and a good addition to the magazine rack.
