Here is an interesting older Ferrari that doesn't get a lot of attention: the 365 GTC/4 in avorio> The 365 GTC/4 that we offer here is very special as it is the presentation car exposed by Ferrari during the Geneva Motorshow, from March 11th to 21st 1971. First car produced, it was used by Ferrari as a development car and for advertisement photos. The car has the chassis number 14179 which is, according to the specialist Marcel Massini, the Pininfarina body number 1 and the assembly sequence number 2, with a wonderful colour combination: Avorio 2.662.016 paint with Blu VM 3282 leather interior. Back to the factory after the motorshow, it is sold new on December 30th 1972 to Gastone Crepaldi, Ferrari dealer from Milano. Mr. Crepaldi registered the car on February 13th 1973 with the number MI S 19055. The car stays in the Milanese region until 1986 when it is sold to the financial company SO.GE.FI from Torino, keeping it until 2015. It is still in its original colour scheme and represents a real opportunity for any collector of the prancing horse company. Ferrari introduced the 365 GTC/4 in 1971 during the Geneva Motorshow. It is a GT with a unique concept as it is neither the descendant of the Daytona, nor the 2+2 heir of the 365 GT 2+2 that is it however replacing. Wishing to satisfy sports customers without neglecting 2+2 enthusiasts, Ferrari chose the compromise with the 365 GTC/4. Based on the Daytona chassis, it remains more spacious with two small seats in the back. Its Pininfarina design is also inspired by the Daytona, with more stretched lines, typical of the 70s. It is also more comfortable with an outstanding standard equipment for the period: power steering, electric windows, AC and hydraulic self-levelling rear ride height control. Its engine, a 4.4 V12 Colombo, is also derived from the Daytona. Fuelled by six Weber carburetors, it develops 340 hp. All in all, only 505 exemplars were produced, on a short 2-year production.

A big thank you to Marcel for providing these images of this actual GTC/4 here! Certainly a nice color combination with blu VM 3282 leather for the interior.
Great looking C/4! Love the old Avorio colour on vintage Ferraris. Would still love to see pics of this colour on a Daytona if anyone has them!
