You asked about movies that used 250 GTEs. I have five as follows:

    Movies featuring GTEs

    1961 GTE Rain Man 1988
1961 GTE Le Corniaud (The Sucker) 1965
1962 GTE The Wrong Arm of the Law 1963
1963 GTE Poliziotto Sprint (Highway Racer) 1977
GTE La Decima Vittima (The 10th Victim) 1965

I do not know where to access them.

Thanks! That contained a clip of one of the GTE chase scenes (the one described in Wax's link), confirming that the video I'm looking for was not from this film. Still searching...

When I lived and raced in France many years ago I saw a film titled "Policy Auto Sprint". I cringed when a GTE jumped a huge ravine along side a DS. The GTE actually landed well and came out unscathed the DS flipped over. Could this be the same movie? BTW I still own a GTE sn#2831 and a Citroen.

Great car with lots of unique features! Did you ever paint it blue? If so, you'll have to post a photo.

    Hi Bill
Thanks I've been meaning to send off to you membership in the registry especially since my dad was one of Len's original members from the first year. I've taken over ownership of 2831 and am looking forward to driving her soon since a 3 year total mechanical rebuild. I'll start the paint when funds recover and I'll most likely go back to the original Blu Sera - here's what she looks like now. Kind Regards NCB

Andruet many interesting design details on your Ferrari. Both inside and out. Great interior, especially the dash layout. Were those cars over 3500 pounds? It looks tidy compared to the RR...

Damn I knew you'd notice the dirty valve covers LOL The head retorque service left the covers a mess. So as you know that day you were in the shop I resprayed them. Looking good now. BTW when we last rebuilt the motor about 25 years ago I baked the wrinkle paint in my mums oven - worked great except every Sunday roast from then on smelled like a spraybooth! My GTE actually weighs less than a Lusso at 2845 lbs. I've weighed both on the same scales down at the Leslie St Spit. The dash on a GTE should be body colour but mine is wrinkle black and when I stripped it once there was no evidence of the exterior bodycolour....weird. GTO shiftknob. Power windows and door pockets like the GTE prototipo and the babyseat harness which I added. The motor and exterior unique features I think have been mentioned before. Last I heard the Boano is being prepped for its new owner. Another longstanding Cdn car going south.
    Happy Easter NCB
