    Can anyone make any comments on this car or otherwise? Is it a clean title? Any stories to the vehicle? Does this dress make me look fat? Is it priced correctly?

    Something is off. Accident(s) maybe? I'd run a CARFAX report on it pronto.

    What's fair market price for that car with 12,500km?

    From what I've seen before, it's in the high 100s. I.e. ~ $180k

    That bodyshop has always had a few hit and repaired F-cars for sale...........I've seen them online for about 2-3 years now...........there's nothing wrong abviously if you disclose it upfront and it's had a correct repair and is being sold at a reduced price.

    At least they are proud enough of their business to advertise as such. Seems rich $$ for an off color car.......

    Nothing is off. I could put you into a 99 or 2000 360 Modena for about that dough..maybe a bit higher but not much higher. The prices on the 360 are falling and falling fast. That car may indeed have a staory..but a higher milage 360 coupe will not bring much more then that.

    I saw this add as well, thinking the price looked 'rock bottom' RELATIVE TO prices, for example, by ZR auto, and various certified ferrari dealers. And, the price and mileage look so, relatively, low for a 99, I'd be tempted to buy it if I was looking. Before doing so, of course, I'd want to establish;

    1) what kind of options -- they can tally up to $15,000 on the initial selling price;

    2) what was the extent of the crash; even if repaired by a top notch agent, it's a simple and sad fact that a crashed ferrari is very hard to sell -- people view ferrari's like jewels and want them scratch free;

    3) what would it look like, upon inspection, chips, leather, other indications of care;

    4) what don't you get on a 99 that you do get on a 04, for example, -- like were the 8 recalls honored, would you expect it to be plagued more by initial 360 woes that were subsequently fixed in later models, 2002+ for example

    5) why is the KM so low, 3K per year; that may not bode well for the mechanics -- as I learned in my 355 and am now learning in my 360, they really do need to be driven.

    Good luck to the interested buyer. Cheers, Paul

    Also, one would want to find out about the clutch state and whether or not the major service had been performed.

    If you get touched by either of those, it's thousands. If you get pinched at the same time, it's over 10k in Canada.

    Also, as an aside, 1999 was actually considered a desirable year for the 360. I believe there was some issue with the headers and the pre-cats that was subsequently changed in later years and made the car less snappy.
