MarkPDX won the 13th Fchat photo contest of Foliage/Beaches His topic choice; "...weird people in the wild. No going to a freak show and getting pre-canned weirdness. Let's see some good pictures of weirdos at Wal Mart, on the side walk, etc....". So the topic choice is: WEIRD PEOPLE IN THE WILD Rules To make it easier, please submit only one photo, if you decide to change your photo, please state which is your final decision. The photo must be taken during the time period listed above No links to photos, please support Ferrarichat and subscribe if you have reached your attachment limit. Congrats again Mark!
At my local Wal Mart the regular greeter by the grocery section is a black dwarf.... My wife always yells at me and says I'm going to hell because I sing the oompa loompa song from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory because she (the dwarf) looks exactly like one of the oompa loompas. So today for the holiday season we were amused to discover that the greeter is dressed in an elf costume..... Only in Arkansas
I made a quick stop at Wal-mart the other day looking for something specific I hadn't been able to find anywhere else. If I would have had a camera with me I would have won the contest hands-down at least once if not twice. I may have to go back and scope out the parking lot if I have some time to waste one day.
The funny & sad thing is, that most of us have mentioned WalMart. Why do weird people shop at WalMart?
Come to my town...it's not hard to find the crazies here. I can't participate in this because of conflict with my job.
I have to agree. No need for others to enter the contest but it doesn't look "in the wild" to me either. :-s
Yes I took this shot last week... have picture data below However regretfully, he was not alive when I took it on 42nd st. in nyc. So I believe It does not qualify as an entry ... Shot was so good and had so much fun editing it in lightroom , I had to enter for all to see... I will seek another shot , so carry on. Michael Image Unavailable, Please Login
I do have to ask, how do you end up taking a picture of a dead guy in the middle of NYC? Just happened to be walking by? I agree it's creepy, made even more so by your admission that he was dead, but it is a good shot.
OK... Mystery over... The Gigs up Took my son to Ripleys... supposedly this figurine was taken from a live individual.... Its wax or neoprene, its fully mechanical and moves with facial expressions.. What appears to be Him laying down in my original photo is just the angle I caught it at.. Seems as if I had most fooled..I widened his face to make him a bit more believable I never would have kept it in the Competition but it fit so good I had to get your attention.. That Black and white effect is too real! Here he is again in LIVING color Hauting Fella , ehh And You people Thought I would Post a Dead mans Face!!!!!
