    To 360 owners:

I'm reaching 15000 miles pretty soon and I believe it's about time for the major 15K service. I would like to ask any 360 owners who has done this service the following questions:

    1. What's involved in this 15K service? (besides engine oil, tranny oil, brake fluid, and coolant plus air filters and torque down the suspension)

    2. How much does it cost? (I'm going to have it done by Ferrari BH or OC. I've heard the price varies from $1500~$2100)

    3. Anything in particular to watch for?

Thank you so much in advance. :)

Can't help you with your question but I'm glad to see you've been enjoying your 360! In the vast waste land of Ferrari garage queens, it's refreshing to hear about a fellow Ferrari owner who isn't afraid of driving it. And a 6-speed, no less... :)

Done the 15k almost 2 year ago.

Engine oil and filter, air and pollen filters, coolant change and bleed system, change brake fluid and bleed system, change clutch hydralulic fluid and F1 system fluid (if you have F1), transaxle oil, power steering fluid, check all suspension, steering, exhaust, wheels and bolts torqued, tires, brakes and brake pads. SD2 diagnosis then road test. All for a little under $1700.

My car's over 30,000 miles and the 30K major performed back in April.

Anything else to look for? When you go pick up your car after the service, I'd look over the car and make sure all oil and fluid caps are tight and nothing is loose or missing. Then drive it home.

Willis, is the 30K mostly the same stuff plus the belts? I assume it's around $3K?

And how many sets of tires have you gone through so far?

My timing belts were replaced during an earlier fix (tensioner), so I don't have to do that until next year or around 43K miles. For my 30K, the aux belts were changed, compression test was performed, fluids and filters, and inspection of all the systems.

Went through 3 sets of Michelins.

By the way, how long does the 15K service take? Did you get the car back the next day?

I think it took about 3 days. Give it 3 days to a week, depending on your dealer's backlog of cars in their shop. You want them to be thorogh and not rush it.

    Jimmy,

The 15K for my 360 was serviced at Cauley Ferrari in Detroit at $4,500. Timing belts, accessory belts, all fluids, suspension, new spark plugs, AC fluids, all electronic checks.....Generally bumper to bumper.

What year's your 360? Your service was probably based on year rather than actual mileage accumulated. Spark plugs are changed in the 30K service.
