    Now this is a real find, that unlike many, actually looks genuine. Absolutely beautiful 1981 512 BB with just 1500 miles. Not run since 1985. If I was Peter, I'd have kept that one.



    Crazy to run the car with the original 43 year old tyres though.

    strange: how can they drive a car with such old timing belts? crazy I only can say.
    and before cleaning all and polishing first is do to a major service

    The owner may have gotten a decent price for the 1,500 mile BB 512 after 4 decades, but missed out on the great value of the experience of driving the car. IMHO he lost

    Yep, I bought an 84 BB 512i from a super nice owner on here in late 2013, drove it 15K miles til 2022 when I sold it. Did a ton of work, but still got all my money back and a bunch more. Now that's a great ownership expierience.

    Did something similar with my 83 308QV. To each his own, but I'll take my experiences with my Ferraris over anyone owning 5 classic Ferraris sitting in a collection.
