'16 750i v '15 S550 (MT, 22:10)

I have a 2016 7 and I did look at the S before buying. I don't think the BMW is as terrible as they put it.

I have a '17 s550 as my daily sedan, just traded in my '14. Love it. Super comfortable. Makes 80 mph feel like 40. I don't have the crazy back seat package from the car they tested though. Sucks for my passengers I guess.

 

Those guys seem to love to complain. I don't understand comparing an M-Sport BMW made to drive to an S-class made to be chauffeured in. The part when they said the BMW was too stiff made me laugh...guess they don't get the point of it.

I love the S600 Maybach...that back seat looks fantastic with all the extra space and the executive seating package with the middle seat deleted. I like the Range Rover Autobiography LWB for the same reasons. I would take either the S600 Maybach or RR LWB over either car tested there, but since I can't afford a chauffeur (let alone the car), I'd go with the sportier 750 M-Sport.

Brabus has a pretty cool 900hp version of the Maybach...

 

These guys (with randy Pobst) are best car entertainment there is. Clarkson, et al will need to really bring it to new show.

btw, its so easy to chose between bmw and mb. Want big lux sedan, go mb. Want small sports sedan, its bmw.
