I have 16" wheels on my 308. I believe they are scraping the wheel wheels when I hit bumps in the road.
Are there any recommended upgrades to the shocks/suspension to cure this?

Stock size tires (205x55/225x50) on stock QV 16's have virtually the same rolling diameter as stock size tires on 14's, within a 10th of an inch. The 225's on the rear are slightly wider than the stock 205x70's on a 14' wheel, but not by much -- the old 14" Michelins were a "wide" 205. I've run 235x60-14's on all 4 corners, and 225 front / 245 rear on 16's and never had any contact -- though I believe some have reported front contact with 235's....

If you shocks/springs are stock and never been serviced, they could be going bad. You can either buy new ones from various Fcar parts sources, or there is an upgrade available. The upgrade allows for height adjustment, corner weighing/balancing, and are adjustable. They are available from Fchat sponsor Nick Forza and are what i use on the car here for street/track driving.

Are you sure they're bottoming out? I wonder if they're hitting the inside of the fender skirt in front of the shock/spring assy. Take your wheel off and look for shiney spots that tell you where they are rubbing. I have aftermarket wheels and wide tires, and mine rub there. I think I'll end up just trimming a bit off the bottom of the fender skirts to keep the noise down.

I have 16" on a OEM all stock 308QV and no problems...I think we need to know what size TIRES you have mounted...they might be unusual tall or too wide...I have the stock size mounted and no problems .
