For Sale 162613 Injectors for 355/4556/550

Brand new, never used late model Ferrari 162613 fuel electro-injector (fuel injector). Current MSRP is $700-$800 and very hard to find. If you reach out to any of the big 3 Ferrari parts online vendors or Ferrari of North America directly or via a Ferrari dealership, there is a very good chance this part will not be in stock and they will not have a lead time because there may not be an order in with their supplier and the factory, even if it is listed as order-able on any websites. My mechanic and I played this game, and we ordered from 3 different sources as a hedge in 2021. My original injectors turned out okay, and I felt bad returning the new ones, so here we are. Two of the new injectors ended up in the car and I opted to not spend the labor to swap them back out, hence the two used injectors for sale here.

I have both versions for these cars; the gray and pink OEM version, which I believe were installed by the Ferrari factory on later cars (456M, later 550, and 550 Barchetta), and the black version (456, 355 5.2, early 550). But this isn't 100% as my car was a late 2001 550 with black injectors. The black injectors for sale here have 35k miles on them, and they have been professionally cleaned and flow tested. These injectors are all interchangeable, but if you know which injector you need and you would like them to match, we have you covered.

These are very commonly known to cause misfire issues as they age and bake like an oven above the very hot Italian V8/V12 motors. This intense heat gradually wears the electronics inside the injectors, and they usually fail one at a time, and intermittently at first, which can make troubleshooting very difficult. If you are chasing a misfire, have your injectors cleaned first, replace your plug wires, and check all plug boots for cracks that could be causing arcing to the heads. Swap ignition coils and see if the misfire code switches sides. Replace your spark plugs with copper champions, too. These cars run much better on copper plugs than Iridium or Platinum. If the misfire code persists, swap injectors right to left and see if the code follows the suspected injector. If it does, this is the injector you need to get back on the road and enjoying your car (or getting your client back to enjoying their car and leaving you a 5 star review).

Please double check the injectors on your car as earlier cars may have later injectors installed, later cars may have earlier injectors installed, as Ferrari could be unpredictable regarding which specific parts were installed depending on supplier availability and the variation from being some of the finest hand built automobiles in the world. Or your car may have received a fresh set at some point. Again, all cars will run perfectly on either style, and matching them is more about the aesthetics of matching their appearance, especially for casual showing and serious concours.
