You are right. Barchetta.cc has it as 195 Inter on the basic list but 212 Inter when the page is opened up. I should have looked harder. So, four is the correct number.
Thank you for your help. Merci.

    Relatively trivial: 3 beads = Series 2.

Thank you Kare. Not trivial at all. This feature can be seen in most pictures where the obvious differences cannot be seen. Illustrated beautifully on the next two photos from Cyril. Thank you both.

Barchetta.cc has updated its website about 025S with the brilliant theory of Kare (025S as the prototype fastback coupe) and the pics I posted in this thread (post #10).

    http://www.barchetta.cc/english/all.ferraris/detail/025S.166Inter.htm

Great but I maintain 025S is the dark blue notchback Touring coupe with Cabo Sport wheels seen in the Marzotto’s courtyard (post #34 and 42).

If the fastback Touring coupe seen at Dino Cognolato’s workshop in 80’s is really 025S (I agree with that), it must have been converted to fastback coupe.

The photo is presented starting from 1952. Impossible, the race numbers of the 1952 Giro dell'Umbria reach n° 312. The photo is from the 1953 edition, the race number is 852, crew Vito Bittarelli and Mario Donati . In 1953 only two Ferraris started in the Gran Turismo category up to 2000 cc., the other was the 0042M with race number 848 and license plate: CL 3760.
There are no Ferrari 2000 cc in the Gran Turismo category at the 1954 Giro dell'Umbria, but, in the same category, 5 Fiat 8V and 4 Lancia Aurelia.
In the Sport category over 1100 cc there were 22 cars on the starting list but in reality 17 started.

Interesting, thanks ! Who knows which serial number is connected with Vito Bittarelli or Mario Donati ? Is it 025 ?

Woaw ! That the proof I was searching for many years that the Touring coupe in the Marzotto’s courtyard was 025S ! Many thanks !
So if the Touring coupe fastback with small rear windows and Cabo Sport’s wheels at Dino Cognolato in 80’s really was 025S, it proves it has been converted to fastback and born as notchback.

This must be the case. The fastback at Cognolato's was clearly a mid-2nd series car, so what else could it really have been!?

025 S was sold to Manifattura Lana G. Marzotto e Figli SpA in Valdagno on 27 September 1949, they sold it 12 September 1950 to Giuseppe Santi in Rome.

I have checked all the others fastback Touring coupes. None has small rear windows like the one at Dino Cognolato so yes, I can’t see any other car except 025S.

At one point, someone wanted to update the design of 025S by modifying the doors, the roof and the rear. Well...

Here a nice article about Inter's with Touring and of course vignale bodys.
This is from anold Ferrari World dated end of 1991 . On Page 61 yoe can see Enzo Ferrari himself with Dino Cognolato the pic is from 1987.
Also you can see a modification from a Inter on page 61 ( cutting under the headlight ).
