First win for a Saleen, Ferrari was 2, 3 and 4 http://www.fiagt.com/ http://www.eurosport.com/home/pages/V3/L0/S224/E6087/sport_Lng0_Spo224_Evt6087_Sto582601.shtml One of the BMS Scuderia Italia 550 pushed his teammate and got a time penalty of 50 seconds for provoking an avoidable collision.
Saleen has been fast first few rounds but now it appears they have figured out how to finish a race. The Ferrari better get their act together if Saleen can keep their cars from falling apart. It doesn't help that they have two world class sports car drivers and former DTM racers Allzen and Bartels racing for Saleen. Regards, Jon P. Kofod www.flatoutracing.net
The Saleens ? or the Ferraris ? The Saleens (I think two have been entered) will never finish or if they do finish it'll be after they've spent hours in the pits rebuilding the car. The Ferraris will be fast as last year, but the factory Corvette's are already running a second faster in testing at most track this season and Pratt Miller is a first class outfit so it will be close. Regards, Jon
I hope the Saleens are driven by people who actually want to finish and not by people who just want to go fast. That is their chance, drive to finish not drive to win.

Wasn't that long ago that the 550s were the fast-but-fragile runners up against the slower but more reliable Corvettes.
