Part of the reason for this is, in my understanding, there are very few right hand drive 16Ms. Here is a RHD Nero car with 7K milese for 350K GBP/547K USD. This seems in line with the post above as well as recent cars for sale in the UK: http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/ferrari/16m Personally, I don't think MSRP or even 50% more is a high price to pay for a limited addition Ferrari like the 16M. We are seeing that (and more) with the 599 GTO and some say with the Speciale Aperta (although not close to that market).
The US seems to run about 12-18 months behind the UK on upwards price movements for the limited V8's.
+1 on stokpro, he helped me acquire my CS right before the price increase. i would get Cs and keep 16m, i have both, and it is such a joy to drive and own both. however, gun to my head, id probably keep the 16m.
Thanks to all for your replies to my inquiry about the 16M vs the CS. The deal fell though as the dealer wanted full price for the 16M but was way off on the value of the CS. Your input has made me want a 16M even more. Guess I'll try to sell the CS privately and then look for the right 16M. Hopefully the 16M prices will be stable, if they go up much more I'm out.
Just got some info about a realized sale price. A Nero car with about 3K miles just sold for 359K USD. Not sure what the MSRP on the car was but sounds like it was a touch over original MSRP which IMHO does not seem so high compared to other similarly limited Ferrari cars.
Any 16M updates? Since the Nero car sold from newport beach, I have not seen any really nice low mileage cars on the market. There were two at CNC, but now only one with 35K miles and wrapped to change color to red from blue. Supply appears to have dried up even with prices moving over 350K.
The only 2 I see on eBay are from Driving Emotions: 1) black with 1175 miles asking $409k http://www.drivingemotions.com/2009-ferrari-f430-scuderia-spider-16m-scuderia-spider-16m-c-170-mobile.htm 2) yellow with 14,554 miles asking $299k http://www.drivingemotions.com/2009-ferrari-f430-scuderia-spider-16m-scuderia-spider-16m-c-171-mobile.htm Sent from my 16M
According to Autotrader - CNC have two 16M's for sale as well. Cars for Sale: 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider in Ontario, CA 91761: Convertible Details - 402736239 - Autotrader Cars for Sale: 2009 Ferrari F430 Scuderia Spider in Ontario, CA 91761: Convertible Details - 406458101 - Autotrader
Hi, has anyone experienced fuel pump / potential fire hazard issues with their 16Ms? The 360/430s have that vulnerability so obviously keen to prevent that. Any suggestions on what to replace, how to detect, avoid, etc?
The only issue I'm aware of on the F430 was a recall for hydraulic hoses in the convertibles that could lead to hydraulic fluid leaking, which is flammable, and causing a fire. That recall affected F430 spider from 2005-2007; the 16m came out in early 2009. 360 recall issues should not be relevant.
Are you still looking for a 16m? I know one . Black/black, yellow caliper and stich . 3,000 miles, italian flag, service 2 months ago, full xpell in whole car
Stryker- the plastic caps on top of the fuel pump assembly will crack eventual due to heat, age, and fatigue. Just be aware of any excess fuel smells and check them on occasion. Replace if cracked or leaking. Not something to worry about.
The Driving Emotion 16M now listed on Miller Motorcars site with a bit more mileage. Dealer flips on this car.
Here is some pricing info mentioned in other threads by me and SethW: SethW sells his 2,440 mile 16m car for 375K http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/144320888-post1541.html Spoke to someone at Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale about a different car but asked if they were getting healthy interest in their 4.3k mile Rosso Scuderia 16M listed at 449K. He told me it just sold at 439K. Unfortunately the car I was asking him about also just sold... Here is a link below.. Rosso Scuderia 16M http://www.ferrarifl.com/used-invent...make=FERRARI&&
Sold, $369k asking http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/ferraris/501101-cnc-motors%3B-black-2009-16m-italian-livery.html
The red 16m fell off this site: Ferrari of Fort Lauderdale | Vehicles for sale in Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308 It was listed at $499k originally. Anyone know what happened. Looks like they picked up a higher mileage black 16m. Also Cargurus seems to have dropped a few units from their listings. Used Ferrari 430 Scuderia For Sale - CarGurus Wonders about the other 16M owners and supply and demand. Personally I own a 16M and a 458 speciale and just love them. Have no reason to sell financially and just enjoy the cars.
Had 16m and speciale as well. Decided to let the 16m go to another member here and acquired a low Mile 599 GtO instead. Missing it already. Will be watching this market closely should I feel the need to jump back into one. It was an amazing car
