I would like to protect the paint work on my car and while im at it change the colour so Im going to wrap it, probably using racoon.

A while back I saw in France what i think I remember to be a flat grey Scuderia with the stipe and the grey was a darkish colour. I now wonder if this is the grey colour used more commonly the 16M?

I like the grigio colour on the Scuderia, personally I think the metallic colour works well to show the lines.

After speaking to Racoon hey have said the stripe will have to go over the wrap so I may leave it off. I have the stripe in the paint.

I think the colour I saw in France was most likely to be grigio opaco but I am not sure.
Has anyone else come across unusual greys and have any pictures? I have searched google images which has led me to Opaco.

Though on the 16M it was a one off color, used to be owned by one member here and now another one owns it.

My g/f said yesterday that I saw the car in Nikki beach Marbella and not Nikki beach S France as I had thought. There is an off chance it was this car that I saw as this picture was taken in P Banus.

From other posts about this picture posters say its Opaco but I have read a post where an actual owner ordered his car in Opaco and Ferrari would not put the stripe on it at the factory as they could not be sure the paint would hold it.

I dont think this colour is Opaco?

Maybe it's the light making the car in Spain look a different colour?

Raccoon have said they cannot match to a paint code but need a sample. So it looks like I will have to chose from what they have. I think I'll go for something as close to grigio but non metallic. I want a smooth finish so the textured grey wrap is out.
