Item # 280184547169 When I saw it I asked the usual questions about maintenance, variators, etc. Has ignored repeated questions and supposedly, 'due to health issues', will sell car for 30k. Beware. Dom
In reality, why would anyone believe a price like this. You could take the car to any highline dealer and expect a much better price to be paid even if you were desperate.
Buy what? He is not selling a totalled vehicle (actually he is not selling anything). Even if it were a legit auction, you would be beeter off just selling the car complete for 70-80K (assuming you were desperate for cash and took it to a dealer to make an offer on).
Dude has a Ferrari and no health insurance? SCAM!!! That's like playing Russian Roulette by yourself with a six chamber revolver loaded with 5 bullets.
How about the vin - ZFFYR51A4X0117380 Ran a carfax just out of curiosity. The report was the longest I've ever seen, too. Wonder if the actual owner is on here and might take notice? Supposedly registered in Florida.
Last night I sent him a "prove to me you really own this"-type o' email just to try and root him out. He sent me the following boiler plate reply.... pretty funny: Hello, Sorry for the late response, but because I work in the US army it's very hard for me to reply faster. I wanted to let you know that the car is still available; I've removed all the bids because I had a buyer offering $ 30,000 but his loan was not approved and now the car is still for sale.. I am willing to sell the car for $ 30,000. This 1999 Ferrari Modena 360 is located in Carrollton, TX and it looks like new, it has never been scratched or wrecked. It will come with a clear title, bill of sale signed by me as well and all the papers (including the original manuals and keys) that you will need to register it under your name. I receive this car as a present from my father .I don't have much use for it and I could use some quick cash right now, rather than waiting for a better offer (selling takes a lot of time too... and time is money). So I'm willing to let it go for $ 30,000 and since I only have one car, First come, First served. Although I will not be able to come home and meet with you being in a very important mission, we can still make the deal through eBay. I have a purchase protection program with them, so eBay will guarantee up to $ 20,000 for any vehicle I sell. Shipping is already paid, as I explained, my buyer changed his mind after I have made the arrangements to ship the car. The trucking company would not refund me but can ship the car to anywhere within continental US, so I've left it at their warehouse and it's ready to ship at anytime. Also, this purchase protection guarantees that the car is exactly as I described; basically, once delivered, you'll have 7 days to inspect it at your home and if you decide not to keep it you will get refunded in no time and they will charge me with the return costs. If you agree with these terms, please email me your eBay username along with your Full Name, address and phone number so I can start this process through eBay. As soon as eBay informs me that the money has been received, I will have your car shipped. If you'll send the money by noon tomorrow, I can even have the car shipped same day and it should get to you in about less than 4 days. If you could then release the funds before the inspection period ends, I'd much appreciate it. I'm sure you'll love the car the day you'll get it. Look forward to receiving your answer asap.
