18 years ago today I took possession of my 84 QV with 67,000 miles and now at nearly 90,000 miles Image Unavailable, Please Login
A Ferrari with 90k miles, the horror. Better send it off to auction before it literally falls apart. Oh wait, it has no value now, better just take it to the scrap yard. Congrats, with 90k is just getting broken in. It's good to see people keep and enjoy their car. I am approaching 24 years with my GT4, my son is waiting to inherit it. Actually I keep it in his garage so he feels like it's half his anyway.
Bruh....23Kmi over 18yrs?! Practically a garage queen! heh I had about 29Kmi on my 86 328 (RIP, I think, unless someone salvaged her from Copart) over 14yrs (@71K mi, a lot less than your 90k!)
I am a person that keeps vehicles for a long time, usually until they can no longer move on their own power or have been rusted beyond safe (I live in the rust belt). My current crop: Ferrari GT4 70K 1983 Audi ur-Quattro 107K 1997 Dodge one ton van 138K (tow/rv vehicle, at 10-12 mpg I only drive it when I need to) 2009 Ford Focus 184K (winter driver, just did a trip from SW Ohio to Nashville and back, averaged 39 mpg) 1999 Ford Ranger 275K (bought new, as dependable as a blacksmith's anvil) vehicle emeritus: 1986 Audi 5000CS, scrapped @300K when the subframes, suspension and brake parts rusted beyond repair. The galvanized body was still solid as a rock. RIP
My 328 has 80K miles and it runs just like it did when new. If taken care of these things last forever.
Congratulations. 20th March I will have owned my 308GT4 for 10 years. 31K miles of pure fun. Now on 87K miles.
Congratulations Mike, Your car is a beauty. I'm also 18 years with my '78 GTS. I've only driven it less than 1000 miles per year on average. I better get on it before I can't push in the clutch any longer. Turning 70 next week.
I see Mike's car at events. Looks new (better than new with his wheels/setup). Simply beautiful. Way to go Mike.
Congratulations. I’ve only had my 308 3 months! I think my length of ownership is dependent on my ability to get in/out of it! I’m very envious.
