was watching some 355 vids.. and came across this car for sale.. first time I see a staggered 19/20" rims/tires setup.. on a 355.. we've seen many 19" setups.. and know one 20" front/rear setup.. from the past.. 19" is just right IMO... 20" all around seemed abit too much.. but this staggered 19/20" setup seems to work..? or could be the rim design that plays a factor.. with how it shows on the car. the concavity of the rear rims just looks fantastic.. not that im interested in the car ( does seem well priced thought).. but curious if anyone knows anything about the rim/tire setup, or if by chance know the previous owner..? definitely never seen this car anywhere here on the boards.. 1999 Ferrari 355 Spider Tempe, Arizona | Plaza Motors Inc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZxJEehaqeg
indeed I totally agree.. and why I felt 19" was the max for a 355.. many nice 19" setups that look fantastic.. but like I was trying to describe.. something with this 19/20 setup seems to work..?
The design is nice but IMO a tad too modern for the 355 ..... they may look more like they belong, if the diameter was closer to stock.
IMO even 19'' are too big for the 355. The 355 is blessed to have some of the best designed wheels on it from stock as well, I see no reason to replace. Out of all different wheels I've seen on a 355, I only liked the BBS LM's or the Speedlines. Personally I'd keep it stock or get speedlines... Generally, I agree. But it is totally subjective and personal. One person's silk purse is another persons sow ear. The stock rims, Speedline Challenge, or the 18" 360 Challenge wheels (not 19" CS) are my personal favorites on the F355.
