    I was wondering if it has been printed anywhere what Kidston, based in CH, bought it for and how he found it. I guess it was known bythe Alfa community for decades that one family owned it so I wonder if they advertised it. The car went to Switzerland.

    If I can't get the purchase price for my speech, I'd like to hear from an Oregonian (sp?) how he got wind of it. Oregon is a long way from Switzerland. Maybe he has scouts who tipped him off. Those barn finds that are 40 plus years are the great ones, as the cars emerge rough looking but haven't been ruined by many owners with incorrect restorations.
