    Very interesting, thanks. I ended up with over 2000 hours in F-111s over a 17 year period. I went to the factory several times in the mid 70s and 80s to write aircrew technical manuals, but well after your father left GD. I still have an F-111F Dash One (-1) Flight Manual to rekindle old memories.

    Dad left in 1972. HE had been a senior engineer in the test lab. He said he got to break what other engineers built.
