    Wow, Gullwing sold that car for $265K, unbelievable. Is my timing off but weren't driver condition 250GTE's selling for $100 - $125K range just 2 years ago or even less?

    I dont think so, there was a small advert to the left hand side of a restored 250GTE for $265000, is that perhaps what you saw.

    Would love to find out what the project car actually changed hands for.. anyone know?

    If you click description, it looks like the advertised price was $185K. Don't know the actual selling price.

    If you follow the link on left you get a listing for another GTE which is the one for 265k. It's pretty tatty and is need of a rest as well.
