Thought you guys would find this interesting...... https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1962-lamborghini-5ctl-tractor-3/ Just went live on BaT.
Does anyone ever use these for more than Man Cave art? I have no desire to own one, and I own a Lamborghini.
I currently have set up a business aiming at restoring old lamborghini tractors, I understand they aren't cars therefore are not as wanted/well seen in the collector community, though I believe, in their way, they are still a part of history and are very aesthetically pleasing. I have set up this business as I am from the same city as Ferruccio Lamborghini (Cento, Province of Ferrara) and my family knew him personally, and the guys rebuilding the tractors for me are old-school Italian artisans, who worked for Ferruccio at the Lamborghini trattori factory. To a Lamborghini collector they may be collection completion. The 5CTL on BaT is quite nice but it is missing it's wheels (detachable, to be mounted when the tractor is to be driven on pavement as the tracks would destroy it). In this particular tractor, they added some rubber inserts on the tracks which are non-original. Here is a picture of a 5CTL I have just completed for a customer Image Unavailable, Please Login
