You've had this since 1963?

 

The steering wheel, shift knob, and radio do not look original, or correct.

But if this is truly a single owner, that'll get some looks.

Re-fitting those would do a lot for your sale. Aside those awful and wrong bits it looks great.

Based off of how many cars he advertises here I would just guess he is a dealer/flipper. No problem with that but the ad is a bit misleading as one might assume it is being sold by the original owner. Every car has had "1 Original Owner" as the title states. Usually a car being offered by a dealer/flipper will read "one owner" vehicle or something like that.
It may be grasping at straws but I think that makes a significant difference - not necessarily to the price or what the car is worth - but more in the nature of making the sale.
Most cars (especially cars like this) have a story to tell, and being a one owner car this one might have a great one to share.
I would love to speak to the OG owner, find out where/why/when he bought the car, what was changed and when and why, etc...

GLWS and looks like a great driver as is or a nice candidate for a full resto.

 

He does not state "1original owner" to be clear, it would best be read as;

'...series 1, original owner'. Not '...series, 1 original owner.' E types of the era are broken into numeric series.

Are you the 1st and only owner of the car? In other words, is your name on the front of the title? If so, wow, and good luck with your sale. What a stunning car.

If not, then are you a dealer and have a valid dealer license? Again, if so, congratulations on the car, and good luck with the sale.

If you're not a dealer, and your name is not on the front of the title, then you are selling a car on an open title, which is against the law.

I think everyone is just trying to figure this out, because a single owner E-Type carries a big premium in the market, and you are dealing with educated buyers.

Just a reminder to buyers: when you are buying a car, if you are not buying from a licensed dealer, insist on seeing both sides of the title, and ensuring that the name on the title matches the name on the seller's identification. If not, the seller does not have ownership of that vehicle, and you will have a difficult if not impossible time trying to title and register the car in your name.

 

Whats with all the smart arse comments? If he was the actual original owner would you then buy it? probably not!

You would be buying the car shown, not buying the seller, it is clear they are not the original owner just an intermediary.

If such cars in such condition are ten a penny and it bothers you then simply buy another!

As we all know they are not , so go and look at it, strike a deal and be the next owner of a lovely looking example.
