    These documents are always decisive. Ferrari gave the order and Pininfarina made sure the colors were correct, although they sometimes had to come from a different supplier (e.g. Franzi in stead of Connolly, also Cogolo, classic BOW, Roser and for the early cars Arbo tan) which meant they got a different code and color name, while a similar color was used. (Similar does not mean 100% same)
